Alrighty, the time has come…..its showtime……Tomorrow I will venture on my mission, and take the single picture that has my name on it…..I am so very happy to finally have a day to devote my full attention to this, cause its really important to me that I get the shot I want….the parcel arrived in tip top shape…as you can see……yippee!

I have been so busy with work I still havent had a chance to take the shot…….I have the day off on tuesday and thats when i can do it…..I work all day so when im off its dark……and i cant take the shot then….i feel so shitty about it and im sorry it will be sent wednesday morning for SURE…..I hope I dont get this off to a bad start…..bad timing….again my deepest apolagies, and I will do my part….

Well, I had a hunch it might be here today…..and I was right!!! Got home from work to find a note from the postal service telling me its waiting for me at the post office…..I will be picking it up tomorrow first thing, and then its time to play….luckily i happen to have the day off….so its absolutely puuuuurfect…Im super excited to be starting this journey, and I wish all the best of luck and fun……….lets make this a success!!! WOOOOHOOOOO!!!

Hello Everyone!
It looks like we’re going to have the first shot taken this week. As I found out from the US Postal Service, there was something wrong at the post office where I was mailing the package and that’s why we cannot track it on line. I also found out that, based on the information from the USPS, the traveler “Cleared Custom in Canada”!
Meantime I received a lot of eMails from people who want to become a part of our adventure. I’m waiting to hear from few of them and if everything is ok shortly I’ll be adding Germany, Sweden, Ethiopia and Russia. Singapore is already in- Welcome!
Also I wanted every participant who didn’t use mailing list yet to let me know if it works with their eMail addresses. Check your SPAM lists! The address we use for mailing list is traveler@wojtekgil.com and it works, both ways, only with emails you gave me during registration.
That’s all for now. I hope to hear from Sarah in couple of days and see her post here with the traveler in her hands!

My Saturday shoot took longer than I expected and I was late at the Post Office to set the traveller on the road. Sorry guys! Everything is ready, package prepared and ready to be shipped. I promise to do it first thing in the morning tomorrow. In the meantime I got few emails from China, Japan and Norway from people who found out about our project at LAist.com. Thank you guys again for spreading the word out.
Few minutes after noon, April 3rd 2006, The Traveler started its journey around the world.
